Hugh Codding, founder of Codding Enterprises, began building California homes in the 1930’s. He created one of the first mixed-use communities by building offices atop retail stores in Santa Rosa. The 1950’s and 60’s brought the first large-scale shopping centers to the region, Montgomery Village and Coddingtown Mall.
Under the next generation of leadership, Brad Baker, Chairman and CEO and Lisa Codding, COO have created a vision to build deeply sustainable, mixed-use communities and invest in companies to create a profitable and responsible future. The company envisions development to have a restorative impact on both nature and cities.
Today, Codding Enterprises, headquartered at Sonoma Mountain Village, controls over two million commercial square feet with approximately 80 employees within Codding Investments, Codding Maintenance and Codding Construction.
