Environmental Responsibility

The group at Codding Enterprises reached the conclusion that business must accept more responsibility in caring for our environment - you simply can’t keep doing business the same old way and expect different results. 

Sonoma Mountain Village is a pioneer in deeply sustainability mixed-use community design.  The installation of one of the largest solar power system in California is just one element of this all-encompassing focus. The community also makes extensive use of recycled building materials to preserve and respect the natural environment. Key services and public transit stops at Sonoma Mountain Village are planned within one-half mile of residences. The proposed SMART station in downtown Cotati is within a 6 minute bike ride or 15 minute stroll, granting easy access to other transit hubs throughout the region. Residents, whose dependence on vehicles will be drastically reduced, may elect to forgo cars altogether.
