The NorthBay Innovation Hub (iHub) and partner the Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster form a non-profit business incubator. The Cluster founded in 2007 by Codding plays a key role in returning jobs to the region and provides mentoring, resources and space for start-ups with a focus on sustainable-resource and socially relevant technologies.
The iHub is a regional economic development collaborative formed under the State’s innovative new program to modernize California’s approach to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
Core services at Sonoma Mountain Village provide furnished office space and shared infrastructure, as well as funding and investment capital resources. Individualized mentoring, advisors, technical and business experts, consultants, student interns, networking and educational opportunities are all part of the services provided.
With 28,000 square feet, the incubator is home to over 20 businesses. Space is available for offices ranging from 250 to 600 square feet, with multiple office configurations to flexibly accommodate growth.
Michael Newell, Executive Director of the Business Cluster, previously served as the Business Development Manager at JDS Uniphase in Santa Rosa, California. He is an experienced technology industry veteran and provides the right blend of expertise for growth.
