Breathe Easy Bike Ride to support education, research and advocacy programs

Rohnert Park (CA) – JUNE 28 2007

Sonoma Mountain Village, a planned community where you can live, work, relax and play while reducing your ecological footprint on the planet, is proud to announce the sponsorship and hosting of the Breathe Easy Ride, the American Lung Association of California ‘s  premiere road cycling event.

The fully supported ride offers cycling routes of 10, 35 or 65 miles through the spectacular Sonoma and Marin County back roads.

Brad Baker, CEO and President of Codding Enterprises, says “we are pleased to host this wonderful event that raises funds to support clean air, smoke free kids and cures for lung disease”.

“Sonoma Mountain Village is being developed to provide a deeply sustainable, healthy community which will reduce green-house gas emissions and the subsequent impact on the planet,” says Baker. “As the oldest education and fund-raising organization for lung health, The American Lung Association shares our goal to improve air quality and health.”

The planned community occupies 200 acres in Rohnert Park in Sonoma County and is a re-use of a former Agilent Technologies campus, combining New Urbanism with deep sustainability.

The Breathe Easy Ride will take place on Saturday, June 30th at Sonoma Mountain Village.  To register visit www.breatheeasyride.org
